M. \n\n\n\nWhile the book explores the Battle of the Bulge\, the largest land battle of World War II\, from start to finish\, the focus on an often-overlooked battle at Flamierge\, Belgium\, early in 1945\, where American airborne troops fought bravely against a very determined foe. \n\n\n\nI have already presented to at one Veterans’ Home and am booked to speak at three (Bangor/Augusta/South Paris here in Maine.  My first presentation was at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Home in Chelsea\, MA.  My first cousin\, John Regan lives there.  John is a West Point graduate and completed two tours of duty in the Viet Nam War.  John is in the center of the attached photo with our granddaughter\, Michaela Haake\, a proud member of the Maine National Guard\, and I.  One of the attendees there was a 102-year-old World War II veteran! \n\n\n\nIf you can spread the word to veterans in the Midcoast Region\, that would be most appreciated.  The presentation is really about honoring all our veterans. \n\n\n\nI hope you can join us. \n\n\n\nThank you for your service. \n\n\n\nPeter \n\n\n\nPeter M.
